A punch down tool is commonly referred to as a Krone tool and is used to punch down wires into an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) Krone style block or contact. The two most common styles of IDC contacts are 110 and Krone (Krone style contacts are at 45deg angles). At AMDEX we can supply a standalone Krone tool or an impact punch down tool which can be loaded with either 110, Krone or Qante blades.
AMDEX products use IDC contacts which can be terminated using a Krone or 110 style tools.
